Eitan reached out to me requesting to photograph his proposal to Yael. We met in a small garden by the church and decorated the X spot with rose pedals. In the mean time Yael was trying to find her way there solving various riddles he prepared for her with clues in their favorite places in the city. As soon as he saw her coming he kneeled down and very sweetly proposed. Right on cue, I jumped out of my hiding place and a few visitors of the park joined me in congratulating them.
We chose quiet streets of West Village with its intimate European-ish vibe for this shoot and then we strolled to cobblestone streets of Meatpacking district and busy High-Line. I love the variety that New York City gives in terms of locations: dynamic Soho and Lower East, romantic and scenic Central Park, eclectic China Town. I can go on, but really West Village was that perfect spot and we managed to get some sweet pictures, which I hope guys are going to cherish for many many years.
